About Us

Donna Higgins & Rosalie Prest
The care provided by RoseDawn Helping Hands is driven by Rosalie Prest and Donna Higgins, who share their love for helping others. In the past, Donna has worked as an Office Administrator in both home and public business settings, she has been a Caregiver to children, worked for several seniors, and a photographer. Above all that, Donna has worked as a Back to Basics Coordinator for a Community Garden and a Housekeeper for a professional family. Rosalie’s background includes owning her own hair salon and administrating for a General Practitioner. She has also worked within Community Development which included Assist Mapping, Events Planning Coordinator, and Housing Coordinator. Most recently, Rosalie has worked as a Real Estate Agent and Mortgage Consultant.
Rosalie and Donna realized a few years ago when their father got sick and passed away, how fast a person’s life can change. Their mother lives next door to Rosalie, who helps out whenever needed. Rosalie and Donna have seen cases where relatives aren’t as close and it is virtually impossible for them to be there when loved ones need help. Then of course, there are the people with their own families and are incredibly busy with work and their kids’ school and extra-curricular activities, who simply just don’t have the time to be there for every one of their parents’ appointments, as much as they would like or want to be. No need to worry now, Rosalie and Donna will be there!
The ladies are very entertaining, great cooks, lovers of music, and best of all – they have a strong passion for helping people.
Their goals for RoseDawn Helping Hands are to get back to the basics, enable seniors to stay in their homes, and grow their business to, in time, add even more services, individualize packages to fit each client, and help those who live away have peace of mind in knowing their loved ones here are in good Helping Hands.
